Breweries, Distilleries & Wineries

Whether grapes, hops or corn meal are your flavor of choice, Franklin County offers ample options to satisfy your taste buds.

In step with the recent boom in craft brewing, the county proudly features three craft breweries — each specializing in their own tasty brews. Wine and Spirit lovers can sip sweet and savory selections from local vineyards and distilleries, sample an array of Virginia wines at the annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival, and enjoy a taste of our handcrafted moonshine heritage.
