Wineries & Breweries

Whether grapes or hops are your flavor of choice, Franklin County offers ample options to satisfy your taste buds.

In step with the recent boom in craft brewing, the county proudly features two craft breweries — each specializing in their own tasty brews. Wine lovers can sip sweet and savory selections from two local vineyards or sample an array of Virginia wines at the annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival.
